Mandalay Bay's 2017 Concerts on the Beach Series Hits The Strip with a Splash

New VIP Beachfront Experience Available This Season 

LAS VEGAS (March 13, 2017) – Splash into summer with Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino’s Concerts on the Beach series. The lineup will kick off at the end of March, featuring incredible artists scheduled to run through September on the Mandalay Bay Beach stage. 

The stage, which rises over the Four Diamond resort’s sand and surf wave pool, has hosted entertainment’s biggest names as part of the fan-favorite series. Concert-goers are invited to enjoy musical performances which perfectly complement the warm season as they sip on cocktails, sink their toes in the sand and wade in the water at Mandalay Bay’s 1.6-million-gallon wave pool. 

New to Mandalay Bay Beach’s Concerts on the Beach series is The Beachfront Experience. This premier experience grants guests access to an exclusive area on the Beach which includes lounge chair seating, cocktail service and premium viewing of the show. Guests also will receive expedited entry into the venue.

The 2017 series begins Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1 with a highly anticipated country music lineup with performances by Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen, Lee Brice, Cole Swindell, Dustin Lynch, Brothers Osborne, Big & Rich and Chris Lane, among others. The season continues with an incredible lineup through September:

•    Friday, March 31: Jake Owen, Lee Brice, Brothers Osborne, Big & Rich, Maddie & Tae, Brett Young and William Michael Morgan 
•    Saturday, April 1: Florida Georgia Line, Cole Swindell, Dustin Lynch, Chris Lane, Tucker Beathard and Dylan Scott
•    All proceeds will benefit ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music, which works to lift lives through the power of music.

•    A eight-time GRAMMY winner, Emmy winner, humanitarian, singer, songwriter and producer, Ziggy Marley has released 15 studio albums to much critical acclaim. 
•    His early immersion in music came at the age of 10 when he sat in on recording sessions with his father, Bob Marley. As front man to Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers, the group released nine best-selling albums that garnered three GRAMMY awards, with such chart-topping hits as “Look Who’s Dancing,” “Tomorrow People” and “Tumbling Down.”

•    UB40 featuring Ali Campbell with Astro & Mickey Virtue, the founding members of the legendary reggae/pop group, is the ensemble which blazed a multicultural musical path and defined reggae music for a generation with such global hits as “Red Red Wine” and “(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You.”
•    The original lineup of UB40 with Ali, Astro and Mickey enjoyed huge success over a period of 30 years from 1979 until 2008, including No. 1 albums and multiple Top 10 gold and platinum-selling albums, GRAMMY nominations and a total of more than 70 million sales.

•    Relive the glory days of the ‘90s as multiple performers once again bring the previous decade alive.
•    The lineup includes GRAMMY Award-winning Salt-N-Pepa, best known for its groundbreaking efforts as one of the first all-female rap groups who will be joined onstage by All 4 One, Kid ’n Play, O-Town, Tone Loc and Young MC.

•    Bands such as Tony Hadley formerly of Spandau Ballet, Wang Chung, Berlin, The Flirts, Animotion, Dramarama, Cutting Crew and Missing Persons will bring back the iconic sounds of the ‘80s for Lost ‘80s Live.
•    The Lost ‘80s Live tour features some of the most recognizable acts from that great decade and is a distinctive opportunity to see a number of fan favorites performing live on one stage.
•    The experience has been described by fans nationwide as a “greatest hits show” where every song played could legitimately be on a number of greatest hits’ albums. Fans won’t want to miss what many believe is the “best of the ‘80s.”
